French Decorative Plates

Take your pick of these decorative plates ($295 each) with their scenes from childhood. (Recreation 10, Repas Charupetre 6, Le Pelotin de fil, Le Chien Docile) Made in France in the 19th century, they have under glaze transfer prints that have added hand coloring.

Materials and Techniques: Earthenware plate (8 1/8") decorated with transfer print and hand coloring. Plates numbered "6" and "10" in the pattern have impressed back marks appearing to be "Montereat 25". The plates with a dog or cat are also back marked under the glaze (see image 8).

Condition: Good condition. Usual signs of age and wear normal for an older item including; crazing, marking, staining. Also a small blemish on "Recreation 10". Ready for installation and use.
