Pair of Wood Specimen Vases

These vases are beautifully crafted pieces from New England. Note the simplicity and elegance of their shape which indicates they were made by a craftsman prior to mid-19th century. The vases are made of 15 different kinds of wood listed in hand writing on paper attached to the bottom of the vases. There is also a maker's name: "Jackie Jones" handwritten on paper attached to the bottom.
