Late Georgian Mahogany Bow Front Chest of Drawers

This lovely bow front chest of drawers has satin cross banding, reeded top edge and string inlays throughout. The secondary wood is English White Pine. It has graduated, 2 over three drawers. The chest has brass: drop handles, escutcheons and locks. The chest sits on a shaped base with four splayed feet. The high quality of the workmanship and techniques used in the construction of this chest are excellent examples of Late Georgian Period (early 19th c.)
