Antique English Imari Vessel as a Table Lamp

Antique English hand decorated Imari ware vessel, circa 1840's, having two handles and a pierced lid with a lion surmount. Converted to a table lamp years ago, it has a gilt wood base and a double light fitting. 

England, early 19th century 

33" H X 11.5" dia.

Materials and Techniques: Hand decorated earthenware. Wood base. Gilt elements. Brass elements. Electrical double lamp fitting with pull chain, wiring and plug. Paper shade. Harp, saddle and finial.

Condition: Very good condition for an item of this age with normal signs of wear consistent with age and use. Cleaned, small, minor old spider crack area near base that is sound, recently rewired, and ready for installation and use.
