19th Century Turkish Carved Wood Chair

1,750.00

This is an exquisite example of Turkish wood carving techniques developed since the 1100's. The chair has intricate carved patterns in duplicating geometric variations. The chair has a well shaped tall back two wonderfully carved finials. The four impressively carved square legs are bridged on each side by nicely shaped skirts and stretchers. The chair has been fitted with a new linen upholstered cushion that works very well with the dark wood.
