This exquisite box has intricate patterns inlaid in wood and mother of pearl. The box contains multiple surfaces an drawers. The top lid lifts to reveal a pen tray and also a storage compartment with lid. A larger panel folds out to show the writing surface of green velvet. The lower panel of the writing surface folds out to expose a further storage area. A panel in this storage area may be removed to allow access to a further two hidden drawers.
