A good American Tramp Art cabinet made in the manner of a salesman's sample that can serve as an excellent display or storage for jewelry or keepsakes. The piece has one shelf over a drawer and two doors. The shelf is supported with two turned columns and finials complete the gallery. The drawer is full width and has two lion pulls. Two doors with brass knobs and a wooden door catch complete the base. The whole rests on shaped front feet and turned back feet. Altogether a most delightful and appealing work in the folk art nature.

Materials and Techniques: Hand Carved Wood, Multi-carved pieces of wood shaped, glued and pinned together, along with turned columns, finials and feet to form the piece. Brass handles and other elements. A paper cover lines the interior and the two shelves. 

Condition: This piece may have minor: shrinkage, surface oxidization, rubbing repairs and wear consistent with age and use.
