Marble Top Rosewood Chiffoniere

This rosewood cabinet from England (circa 1850) has two drawers over two arched and glazed doors which are enclosed by turned columns with acanthus capitals. The cabinet rests on a 2 3/4" plinth with applied molding. The white streaked marble top is of a later period. The base has two shelves.

36" H X 47.75" W X 19" D

Materials and Techniques:  Rosewood, Marble.

Condition:  Other than minor signs of age and wear the cabinet is in very good and near original condition for the period.
